DETAILS

A top-rated music supervisor from one of the leading ad agencies in the world is our special guest at NARIP’s next Music Supervisor Session in London: Ryan Fitch, Music Producer at Saatchi & Saatchi (New York). Known among his colleagues as a “music man,” Fitch selects, commissions and places (and in some cases, creates) music for global advertising campaigns for the world’s most recognizable brands. In NARIP’s intimate session, you get to meet and pitch him for current opportunities.

Come meet this career-maker.

SUCCESS STORIES & BACKGROUND

NARIP members have made placements through these limited enrollment sessions, including most recently Peter Kimmel who has secured multiple placements. These include placing “The Big One” in the film Chronicle, “Soul of a Man Never Dies” in an episode of True Blood and “Jhiara” in an episode of Dexter following NARIP sessions with Andrea von Foerster and Gary Calamar earlier this year in Los Angeles. You can read more about it here.

Placements secured and professional relationships formed through these meetings are so good that we felt this format would work well for those who represent catalogs and/or seek intimate pitch opportunities with the best (and busiest) ad agency music supervisors in the business.

Limited to 15 people, NARIP’s sessions enable you to get to know the supervisors and more importantly, enable them to get to know you. At private sessions this year in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Berlin and London participants were able to pitch for current opportunities on the spot, receiving instant feedback as to whether a song was appropriate or not, and WHY. This valuable feedback makes better pitches – and ultimately, placements – possible. In some cases, participants even had time to re-work their music to better fit a supervisors’ needs.

Above all, attendees MET key players in the modern music business, paving the way for future opportunities and giving them an edge in a highly competitive market.

At our next session in London, participants will have the opportunity to pitch music for specific opportunities for current campaigns and get immediate, direct feedback from one ad agency music supervisor.

A NEW ACCESS POINT

“We have created an access point that wasn’t available before,” says Tess Taylor, president of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP) and creator of the series. “We’re thrilled with the success of these sessions in London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Berlin, as are participants. This broadens the access to music, access that might otherwise not exist. We’re grateful for the positive reception we received in London at our first sessions there in November, and look forward to bringing many more to this city that has produced some of the best-loved music in the world.”

NARIP’s sessions diversify potential usage of music and are appropriate for those who represent catalogs of all sizes.

What attendees say about NARIP’s Music Supervisor Sessions (with film / TV and ad agency music supervisors) held earlier this year in London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Berlin:

  • “Getting personal and immediate feedback… was very valuable.” – Cathi Gibson, Rough Trade (attended Chris Mollere session in London)

  • “Straight talking honesty, love it! Very rare in this industry, the whole event from start to finish was faultless, best event I have been to by far.” – Guy Stanway, ZY Records (attended Chris Mollere and Andrea von Foerster sessions in London)

  • “Most valuable: honest opinions and face time with the supervisors. The overall quality of the event and the people involved was great – friendly, interesting, informative – and most of all very useful. A lot of these seminars promise a lot and deliver very little – these DO deliver. And after being in the industry 15 years, I feel like I actually learnt something!! Great!!!” – Julie Weir, Visible Noise (attended Chris Mollere and Andrea von Foerster sessions in London)

  • “I had a great time last week and learned a lot. It was a real inspiration … I already feel indebted to you for such a fantastic week, it was very exciting to meet you and the team.” – Sarah Llewelyn, Tonal.org.uk (attended Andrea von Foerster session in London)

  • “I’ve had 3 managers and 5 years of plugging away on the Internet for contacts and had more success getting material in front of a music supervisor with NARIP’s sessions than anything previously! Please keep it up, I will definitely attend more!” – Shay Dillon, Independent (attended Gary Calamar’s session in LA)

  • “I applaud NARIP in establishing these sessions!” – Richard Khuzami, Dahdoo Productions (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Such an amazing night … I have been to many such events but have never felt this kind of intimacy and accessibility, and came away feeling like I really made a super connection in the industry. At Jessica [Dierauer’s] session I gave her a CD of 30 and 60 second clips. Her assistant emailed me yesterday (before I even followed up!) to say that they can use some of my tracks and needed some metadata (another lesson I learned at NARIP’s session about imprinting metadata onto all tracks!). So I am thrilled to have made such a great contact in the ad biz because of NARIP. So how can I not attend all your amazing sessions knowing I will make such high level contacts that would have been very difficult for me to have made on my own? I can’t wait for the next session!” and feedback following Ryan Fitch’s session: “Last night’s session with Ryan Fitch was wonderful! Ryan is a straight shooter with class and sensitivity and I got a lot out of the session in terms of what he is looking for. I have made incredible contacts in the advertising business because of NARIP and there is no other music networking group that comes close to what NARIP offers, I’m a fan!” Gail Vareilles, Sandshifter Music (attended 5 sessions in New York with Jessica Dierauer, Paul Greco, Mike Boris, Josh Rabinowitz and Ryan Fitch)

  • “Please keep me informed of the next NARIP sessions in London and LA. Once again, many thanks for the opportunity to pitch.” – Reza Davoudi, Nineteen95 Artist Management (attended Andrea von Foerster’s and Gary Calamar’s sessions in Berlin, and Andrea con Foerster’s and Chris Mollere’s sessions in London)

  • “Was lots of fun and learned a ton of new things. Both Jessica and Ed were great. Also, the anecdotes (e.g. Serge Gainsbourg’s daughter rejecting AXE) are priceless. Thanks again for coordinating these wonderful sessions. I will highly recommend to others.” – David Liang, Shanghai Restoration Project (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York and John Houlihan session in Los Angeles)

  • “Great event with PJ Bloom! Definitely an uncommon opportunity.” and feedback to the Todd Porter San Francisco session: “What a super event last night! Thanks for providing such a unique and excellent opportunity. Where else could I sit down with a top-notch professional like Todd Porter and get immediate feedback on my work? He was very candid and informative, willing to illustrate the ins and outs of the ad business with brilliant clarity. And the chance that he might be able to utilize my music? Invaluable! I’ll be back!” – Joel Evans, Cinemasters (attended PJ Bloom and Todd Porter sessions in San Francisco, and Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Thank you once again for a fantastic series of supervisor sessions. Looking forward to many more sessions and events with NARIP… Thank you all for your professionalism, earnestness and care in providing the very best for us. We SO appreciate everything you do. • “Thank you and the NARIP staff for the supervisor session with Jessica… This was a ‘crash course’ in what an advertising music supervisor needs versus a music cues written for TV shows (which is what I was familiar with)…. I already signed up for the next session on the 27th.” – Classical arranger / composer / producer Sor Harris (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

We all went out with Ed [Razzano – program moderator] afterwards (including Ryan) to cap off a great 6-session series [in New York]. I know I speak for all of us, especially the ones like me who attended all of the sessions, when I say that we’re sad that they are ending. – Annie Calder, Coral West Music (attended Chris Mollere’s session in Los Angeles, and 6-part series in New York including sessions with Jessica Dierauer, Jane Scofield, Paul Greco, Mike Boris, Josh Rabinowitz and Ryan Fitch)

BACKGROUND

NARIP members have made placements through these limited enrollment sessions, including most recently Peter Kimmel who placed a song from his catalog (“Soul of a Man Never Dies”) in an episode of True Blood following our session with Gary Calamar earlier this year in Los Angeles. He has also placed a song in Dexter (“Jhaira”) which airs on October 23, 2011 in the US. You can read more about this here.

These sessions should be of particular interest to those who represent catalogs and/or seek intimate pitch opportunities with the best (and busiest) music supervisors in Los Angeles.

Limited to 15 people, NARIP’s sessions enable you to get to know the supervisors and more importantly, enable them to get to know you. At private sessions in Los Angeles, Berlin, San Francisco and New York, participants have been able to pitch for current opportunities on the spot, receive instant feedback as to whether a song was appropriate or not, and WHY.

At each session in London, participants will have the opportunity to pitch music for specific opportunities that will be emailed to them in advance of the session. Participants then present music and get immediate, direct feedback from one music supervisor.

What attendees say about NARIP’s Music Supervisor Sessions held earlier this year in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin and New York:

  • “I’ve had 3 managers and 5 years of plugging away on the Internet for contacts and had more success getting material in front of a music supervisor with NARIP’s sessions than anything previously! Please keep it up, I will definitely attend more!” – Shay Dillon, Independent (attended Gary Calamar’s session in LA)

  • “I applaud NARIP in establishing these sessions!” – Richard Khuzami, Dahdoo Productions (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Such an amazing night … I have been to many such events in the past where I had the opportunity to meet some major industry leaders but have never felt this kind of intimacy and accessibility and came away feeling like I really made a super connection in the industry… At Jessica’s session I gave her a CD of 30 and 60 second clips of some of my songs. … I can’t wait for the next session!” – Gail Vareilles, Sandshifter Music (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Please keep me informed of the next NARIP sessions in London and LA. Once again, many thanks for the opportunity to pitch [at the Berlin NARIP Supervisor Sessions].” – Reza Davoudi, Nineteen95 Artist Management (attended Andrea von Foerster’s and Gary Calamar’s sessions in Berlin)

  • “Was lots of fun and learned a ton of new things. Both Jessica and Ed were great. I like how all of you are mindful of folks who might not be that familiar with the industry and always provide explanations of definitions that may not be as widely known.

  • Thank you very much for the very interesting pitching session with Andrea at the Popkomm. I would be very keen to take part [in NARIP’s London Supervisor Sessions].” – Christoph Becker, Moanin’ Records (attended Andrea von Foerster’s session in Berlin)

  • “[NARIP’s Music Supervisor series] is a very effective and beneficial program to get contact with the local and national supervisors who run the film and TV industry.” – Robert Case, President, New Pants Publishing (attended Carolyn Richardson, Gary Calamar and Julianne Jordan and sessions in Los Angeles)

  • “Great event with PJ Bloom! Definitely an uncommon opportunity.” – Joel Evans, Cinemasters (attended PJ Bloom session in San Francisco, and Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Thank you once again for a fantastic series of supervisor sessions. Looking forward to many more sessions and events with NARIP… Thank you all for your professionalism, earnestness and care in providing the very best for us. We SO appreciate everything you do. [NARIP provides] incredible value.”” – Ben Bidlack, Bees & Honey Music (attended all seven sessions in Los Angeles and PJ Bloom session in San Francisco

  • “It was really great. Will attend the [sessions] in October. Jessica was really lovely and everyone was so talented.” – Sarah Nagourney, Glassbeat Music (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • Very, very informative and helpful. These are fun and the supervisors have been extremely willing to share very useful info. – Catharine Wood, Planetwood Productions (attended Andrea von Foerster, Julianne Jordan and John Houlihan sessions in Los Angeles)

  • “I found the session extremely interesting/helpful, and I look forward to attending the rest of the series.” – Jacob Weinrib, Parma Licensing (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “I really enjoyed the event and definitely see the value in the intimacy of it. I’m on board for more as well as doing some LA stuff and London.” – Freddy Charles, Freddy Charles Music (attended Jessica Dierauer session in New York)

  • “Thank you again for providing one of the more professional and useful events that I have ever attended. It was intimate, precise and well-executed. The feedback was immediate and valuable.” – Eric Caver, PTEC Dojo (attended Andrea von Foerster session in Los Angeles)

  • “Another successful and extremely well-organized NARIP event, please keep them coming! … [it was] an amazing opportunity to pitch our music to Gary Calamar in such a personal and focused setting.” – Sven Spieker, Mighty Generation Music (attended Gary Calamar, Andrea von Foerster and Chris Mollere sessions in Los Angeles)

  • “What a wonderful job NARIP is doing in putting together these events that help professionals connect and share information. And how cool a person you are. Kudos to NARIP and your wonderful team.” – Daniel Indart, Latin Music Specialists (attended Chris Mollere and Julianne Jordan sessions in Los Angeles)

ABOUT THE SUPERVISORS

Chris Mollere, Fusion Music Supervision
Session #3 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 (3:00 p.m.)

Music Supervisor Chris Mollere’s diverse interest in the world began quite early in life. Growing up in a military family, he traveled extensively while living in Europe and various stateside locations. At an early age he developed a unique appreciation and love for all styles of music. He especially credits his family’s love of music and his father’s extensive record collection as an early influence. His passion and love of music evolved even further as he began attending concerts and playing music himself. Chris attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and in addition to receiving an excellent education in the areas of psychology, advertising and business, he participated in countless music events that the city and state had to offer. Living in Austin provided Chris unlimited opportunities to attend concerts ranging from the most seasoned performers to a diverse variety of new artists. Becoming friends with many musicians and music venue owners provided Chris with a unique perspective of the behind the scenes challenges and business aspects of music. To further expand his knowledge of the music business, Chris worked with bands in management, production and promotional capacities. These early positions helped Chris understand many of the diverse facets involved in the music industry. After graduation, Chris moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a full time career in music and entertainment. One of Chris’s first jobs was as a Producer’s / Composer’s Assistant at Music Forever in Hollywood. There he served as a liaison with record labels, advertising agencies, directors and producers while working on a plethora of projects. One of these projects was the film Memory, which provided Chris his first opportunity to work as a music supervisor, an experience that would confirm he could fuse together his passion for music and film. Since then, Chris has had numerous credits as a music supervisor, including working on the ABC Family Television series Kyle XY and 10 Things I Hate About You, as well as on the feature films The Box, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell and The Haunting of Molly Hartley. Chris is currently the music supervisor for the CW television series The Vampire Diaries as well as for the ABC Family series Greek and Pretty Little Liars. He has recently completed the soundtrack for Season One of The Vampire Diaries, which was released on Capitol Records in October 2010, and he recently completed working on the soundtrack for Season One of Pretty Little Liars which is out on Water Tower Records.

Chris Mollere, Fusion Music Supervision
Session #2 on Thursday, November 17, 2011 (6:30 p.m.) – THIS SESSION IS SOLD OUT

Special thanks to Jody Millerchip at SAE Institute in London for her help with this series.

Chris Mollere, Fusion Music Supervision
Session #2 on Thursday, November 17, 2011 (6:30 p.m.) – THIS SESSION IS SOLD OUT

Tess Taylor, NARIP President (moderator)

Tess Taylor is president of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP) and creator of NARIP’s Music Supervisor Sessions, which have yielded multiple placements in shows such as True Blood, Dexter and others in less than six months since the series inception in 2011. Featuring top music supervisors from the film, TV and ad agency sectors, NARIP’s sessions have been a hit in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin and New York, with sessions scheduled in London in November 2011 (two of which are sold out). One of the nation’s leading authorities on careers in the music and record industries, Ms. Taylor has connected countless people to jobs and opportunities through her work in the US and abroad, cultivated collaborations for over two decades, helped launch hundreds of projects and several companies. Music Connection magazine named Ms. Taylor in its list of “50 Innovators, Iconoclasts, Groundbreakers & Guiding Lights of 2008” (Dec 2008). Dubbed “International Music Ambassador” by music supervisor P.J. Bloom (Glee, Nip/Tuck, The Shield, CSI: Miami), Ms. Taylor works with groups such as the European Music Export Office, Danish Songwriters Guild, French Music Export Office, Boomtown (Sweden), Berlin Music Commission and others to connect their members to opportunities in LA and throughout the U.S. She has consulted leading businesses such as MySpace.com in its start-up phase, InsideSessions (a joint venture between the Universal Music Group and Penguin Putnam, Inc.), The Walt Disney Company, BMG Entertainment (formerly Sony BMG), Concord Records and others. Ms. Taylor has lectured at the Harvard Business School, in Bangalore, Berlin and beyond. She recently keynoted at Popkomm (Berlin), at the Drucker Career Conference (LA), the Trigger Creative Conference (Borlange, Sweden), and guest-lectured at the University of Vienna’s Institute für Popularmusik in Austria. She was invited to present her “Success Strategies” at NAMM 2011. Deeply annoyed by people who think music should be free, Ms. Taylor is a vigorous defender of intellectual property rights and debated Electronic Frontier Foundation co-founder John Perry Barlow on “free music” at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth (2006) and was invited for a rematch at Ohio University (2008). She won both times. From 1988 to 1993 Ms. Taylor was employed at MCA Records, Inc., last serving as Associate Director of Marketing. A classically trained pianist, she studied music at the University of Vienna, and is a Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Redlands’ Johnston College where she received her BA degree in music, German and literature. She loves traveling the world, nibbling dark chocolates and drinks lots of tea. She also loves fine fountain pens, anything written or recorded by Glenn Gould or Pete Townshend, gripping crime novels and hiking with her English cocker spaniel.

Intimate Pitch Meetings with Top Music Supervisors

1000+ Placements and 19 Signings Result From NARIP Pitch Sessions

A NARIP Series: Intimate Pitch Meetings with Top Music Buyers including Music Supervisors, A&R Executives, Synch Agents & Music Producers

Is your music getting to decision-makers –  people who can say YES and write a check? At NARIP’s intimate sessions, you get to meet music buyers including A&R executives, music supervisors, synch agents and music producers and pitch for current placement opportunities, representation, and projects, and get immediate feedback. BACKGROUND Since 2011, NARIP Music Supervisor Pitch Sessions have secured over 1,000 placements in blockbuster films, hit television series, global promotion and advertising campaigns, and major studio trailers for NARIP members.   Since inception of NARIP’s Synch Agent Pitch Sessions in 2018, 17 NARIP members have signed representation or music publishing deals as a direct result.  Other outcomes include collaborations, co-writing, producing and commissioned work. At NARIP’s Music Supervisor Pitch Session:
  • Meet top creative advertising agency Aspect Director of Music (music supervisor) face-to-face
  • Pitch songs directly to Alison for her current and priority projects
  • Meet Alison who can say YES and write you a check.
  • A repeat NARIP guest, Alison says, “I can’t get enough music!”
  • Learn how to get placed directly from the buyer, hear what works and what doesn’t
  • Direct access + firsthand info = better results FOR YOU
Small, focused NARIP Sessions enable one-on-one time and immediate direct feedback to music presented by participants.   At NARIP Pitch Sessions, limited to 16 people, you get to know the guest music supervisor, synch agent or producer, and they to get to know you.   Most important, attendees meet these key players, paving the way for placement, representation, collaboration and ongoing opportunities, and giving them an edge in a competitive market.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A NARIP MUSIC SUPERVISOR PITCH SESSION PREPARATION IS KEY

NARIP Music Supervisor Sessions are limited to an enrollment of just 16 people.  About one week prior to NARIP’s Session, all registrants will get a brief of the guest supervisor’s then-CURRENT music needs. Each registrant will have a chance to pitch in response to the music briefs provided and get immediate feedback to music pitched. Each participant must submit 7 songs (MP3s only please) 36 hours prior to NARIP’s Music Supervisor Session. Please note that due to time constraints you will only be able to pitch your TOP 3 songs for consideration and immediate feedback (more, if time permits). This process takes the mystery out of why a piece of music does or doesn’t fit. On-the-spot feedback enables registrants to re-work tracks and re-submit, which creates a much higher probability to get them licensed (choose well!).

If you do not have music that matches the current needs of the supervisor, fear not! You can still attend and present the top three songs in your catalog.  Make sure the songs are unique and captivating. This is helpful because a music supervisor’s needs change constantly. To optimize impact of music you pitch at NARIP’s Music Supervisor Session, we highly recommend that you target the briefs. Good luck and see you there!

BEFORE NARIP’S PITCH SESSION:

  • NARIP prepares a one-sheet for each participant including your photo and bio for the guest music supervisor to use and review at the event, and to take with him after the event.  We will request your photo and bio one week prior to the event.  In preparing these materials, we recommend you focus on brief career highlights in your bio and have a professional photo available.
  • Approximately 5 to 7 days prior to NARIP’s Session, you will be sent a project brief describing several cues needed for a current project(s) of our guest speaker.  These often include reference songs or links so that you can hear exactly what he seeks or needs to replace.
  • You will submit your tracks with writer, publisher and other rights holder information that will also be supplied to the music supervisor during and after NARIP’s Session.
  • You will get submission and meta-tagging guidelines, and mentoring as to how best to prepare your music for submission.
DURING NARIP’S PITCH SESSION:
  • You will get to play at least three songs (sometimes more, if time permits) for the guest music supervisor who will provide feedback to you for each one.
  • NARIP moderator asks very specific questions to help participants learn and understand how to modify their tracks to make these more place-able for the guest supervisor’s specific needs at hand.
AFTER NARIP’S PITCH SESSION:
  • NARIP provides guest music supervisor with participant one-sheets and all music from NARIP’s Session, including notes detailing the guest music supervisor’s interest in specific tracks.
  • If requested by guest music supervisor, NARIP conveys additional tracks, remixes, instrumentals etc. to him.
  • If approved by guest music supervisor, NARIP provides his contact details to registrants.
DON’T GET LOST IN THE CROWD: SMALL IS THE NEW BIG NARIP Sessions are deliberately kept small and intimate, which is just one reason they work so well and why participants have enjoyed over 1,000 placements to date. Limited enrollment of 16 people per session guarantees that registrants meet and get face-time with our guest. OVER 1,000 PLACEMENTS FROM NARIP MUSIC SUPERVISOR SESSIONS
Our small format works! NARIP Session participants have placed well over 1,000 tracks as a direct result of NARIP Music Supervisor Sessions.  Other benefits include new publishing deals for NARIP members, creative collaborations and co-writes, strategic introductions to other music supervisors and placement experts, new representation for composers and much more. NARIP’S BIGGEST PLACEMENT TO DATE : VODAFONE Click here to read about NARIP’s biggest placement to date in a Vodafone campaign (Oct 2014) that paid handsomely and launched a career.  Other brand placements include McDonalds and AT&T ads, among others. Placements secured and professional relationships formed through NARIPs music supervisor sessions have earned praise and many placements! See TESTIMONIALS and PLACEMENTS sections below.

2013-05-01 In LA – Trailer NARIP Music Supervisor Session -w- Trailer Park’s Toddrick Spalding
×
NARIP Music Supervisor Sessions

Intimate Meeting & Pitch Session with
Director of Music for High Bias Industries Toddrick Spalding

on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 (7:00 p.m.)

Jump to registration below, click here.

DETAILS

Top-rated Trailer Park Music Supervisor Toddrick Spalding is our special guest at this NARIP Music Supervisor Session in LA: Spalding commissions, licenses and places music for global feature film trailer campaigns for the world’s biggest blockbusters as well as for independent films, global advertising campaigns and television. Limited enrollment of 16 people per session guarantees face-time, registrants get brief of supervisor’s CURRENT music needs, a chance to pitch plus immediate feedback. In NARIP’s intimate session, you get to meet and pitch him for current opportunities.

Trailers – which represents a large part of Toddrick’s client work – have skyrocketed in recent years as an important and lucrative vehicle for music licensing. Synch fees for music in trailers tend to be larger because the rights requested tend to be more broad (worldwide, in perpetuity, used in every possible media). Also, trailers are typically part of a film’s marketing budget rather than its music budget, with film marketing budgets almost always many times larger than music budgets. One senior music executive at Fox Studios says that the music budget for a film is rarely larger than 3% of its overall budget, if that.

ABOUT TODDRICK SPALDING

Toddrick is a music supervisor at Trailer Park, one of the biggest film marketing agencies in the business. He got his start in the music industry as founder and drummer of Chicago indie rock band The Detachment Kit. Since those long ago days of constant touring and near-death experiences, he has built a career in music supervision for feature film marketing, indie features, traditional advertising and television. His company High Bias Industries, a collective of music supervisors, has worked on numerous high-profile projects (Django Unchained trailer, Givenchy worldwide campaign, NBA Finals, and FX’s Wilfred Season 2 and others). Prior to launching High Bias in 2011, Toddrick worked as a Music Supervisor at film marketing agencies including The Cimmaron Group and mOcean/CMP+, and also spent time as Director of Music for Film & TV at the Spectre Entertainment Group and as Director of Marketing for Knitting Factory Hollywood / Knitmedia. He is also currently the West Coast Creative Director at Spirit Music Group, home to artists as diverse as Pete Townshend, Marc Bolan, Lou Reed, The Naked and Famous and The Used.

SMALL IS THE NEW BIG

NARIP’s small sessions (limited enrollment of 16 people per session) guarantee face-time with our guest, registrants get brief of supervisor’s CURRENT music needs, a chance to pitch plus immediate feedback. You get to meet and pitch our guest for current opportunities on the spot, receiving instant feedback as to whether a song or cue is appropriate or not, and most importantly, WHY. This feedback makes better pitches – and ultimately, placements – possible. Participants even have the opportunity to re-work music to better fit a supervisor’s needs.

Placements secured and professional relationships formed through NARIP”s music supervisor sessions have earned praise and and placements! See TESTIMONIALS and PLACEMENTS sections below.
